Tawheed Dawah Center (TDC) invites you to participate in a special event that marks a significant milestone in our Ramadan journey: the first Khatam-e-Quran Taraweeh. This event will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Courtyard by Marriott Cypress in California. It promises to be a night filled with devotion, prayer, and unity.

Time: Isha Salah at 8:30 PM, followed by Taraweeh prayers

The event begins with Isha Salah at 8:30 PM, followed by the Taraweeh prayers. This first Khatam-e-Quran Taraweeh is a special occasion where the entire Quran will be completed during the Taraweeh prayers. It is a moment of great spiritual significance, offering a chance to reflect on the Quran’s teachings and renew your faith.
Special accommodations have been arranged for sisters to ensure everyone can participate comfortably and respectfully. This thoughtful arrangement reflects TDC’s commitment to inclusivity and community care.
Continuing the Spiritual Journey with Hafiz Faiz Amin
Starting the very next day, March 11, Hafiz Faiz Amin will lead the second Taraweeh session at the TDC musallah. The goal is to complete the second Quran during the third Ashra of Ramadan. This continuation allows the community to deepen their connection with the Quran throughout the month.
Please keep the hufaz in your prayers as they dedicate their time and effort to lead these sessions. Their role is vital in guiding the community through the Quran’s recitation and fostering a collective spiritual experience.
The Importance of Zakat During Ramadan
Ramadan is also a time to fulfill our charitable obligations. TDC reminds the community to fulfill their Zakat al-Fitr, which is $15 per person this year. This obligatory charity helps those in need celebrate Eid with dignity.
Additionally, Zakat al-Maal, calculated as 2.5% of your total wealth, is another important pillar of giving. Your generosity supports the Pakistan Zakat project, which provides essential aid to vulnerable communities. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.
