Each year, the meat from these sacrifices is distributed to local poor and needy families. Your participation directly benefits those struggling with food insecurity in rural regions.

❗ Who Is Qurbani Wajib On?

Qurbani is wajib (obligatory) upon all Sahib-e-Nisab Muslims. This refers to those who possess wealth beyond their essential needs, equivalent to:

• 7.5 tolas (approx. 3 oz) of gold, or

• 52.5 tolas (approx. 21 oz) of silver, or

• The monetary equivalent in savings, valuables, or trade goods

If you meet this threshold, Qurbani is a mandatory act of worship.
